Daniel Foster, Managing Director at 34SP.com introduces us to their UK-based web hosting company.
We are really proud to be sponsoring the first of what we hope will be many WordCamp Brightons.
34SP.com has sponsored and continues to sponsor as many UK WordCamps as we can. The combination of great learning and networking opportunities mean we see WordCamp and similar events as a vital way for the WordPress Community to which we belong to flourish and grow.
We asked Kayleigh, one of our WordPress Specialists why she’s always the first to put her name down when a WordCamp comes up:
“It’s great meeting folks in the community who are also enthusiastic about WordPress. They’re informative events which get you all inspired to try new things. I come away just wanting to learn something new or look at an old project again.”
WordCamps give us an opportunity to meet new people and reach out to old friends. Often we meet existing clients and chat about how things are going, look back on their great launch or help make plans for their site.
We’ve found new staff members thanks to WordCamps we attended and they allow us to reach out to people who might not have heard of us before.
For those of you we haven’t met yet, we’re a Manchester based web hosting company.
We specialise in WordPress thanks to our WordPress Hosting Platform, which itself debuted at WordCamp London 2016.
While our Managed WordPress Platform is new, we have over 15 years of experience.
Making the trip down to the southern seaside are: Nina & Joe, two of our technical support staff; Kayleigh, one of our WordPress Specialists; Keith, an advanced support engineer and WordPress Specialist; as well as Head of Sales Siobhan; Tim our WordPress Platform Lead and Daniel our company MD.
On the day it should be easy to find one of us so don’t be shy. Come say hello to one of our blue T-shirted colleagues.
We also have a stand, so come and join us if only to pick up some of our swag, but we hope you will also stop and have a chat with one of the team.
For those interested: our new Managed WordPress Platform has been designed as isolated containers, allowing us to use specialist technologies to improve performance and security.
At the heart of the stack is CentOS 7 with Nginx, MariaDB, Memcached and PHP-FPM, with specialist caching solutions in the form of Nginx FastCGI cache and application caching with Memcached.
With automatic updates, backups, staging and the ability to use Git and Composer, along with a free SSL certificate for every domain, it’s been designed with you in mind.
What’s more it’s at a price we think most people are going to love. So pop along to the stand for a demo and a chat. Or alternatively visit our WordPress Hosting section of our site.
WordCamp Brighton is going to be amazing, so make sure you come along and thanks for having us!
