The WordPress community spans the globe and includes thousands of people who are interested in WordPress. If you have an interest in WordPress, you’re a part of the community 😄
We’re working on creating an inclusive WordCamp Brighton, with the aim of increasing the diversity in our community. We truly want to create an event that anyone with an interest in WordPress can attend and get a lot out of.
We believe everyone should feel welcome to join in the WordPress fun and have access to the many opportunities this community provides.
WordCamps are one such opportunity. Organised entirely by volunteers, they’re a chance for the community to get together, learn, exchange knowledge and celebrate WordPress.
Tickets for under-represented groups
With this in mind, we’re giving away 10 WordCamp Brighton tickets to people from groups under-represented at WordCamps.
Under-represented groups include, but are not limited to, women, individuals with a disability, Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) people and LGBTQIA+ people.
