WordCamp Brighton is over for another year and we’ve crunched various numbers… including the final budget 🌞
We thought you might be interested in a rundown of these. So let’s start with the people who made it all happen:
WordCamp Brighton is one month away and we’re all getting very excited!
Still, if we’re really going to organise this event in the open, it’s time you knew about the budget. And it’s time you knew, we need to raise a bit more sponsorship.
[Update, 2nd August 2017: We’re very pleased to say we’ve now reached our target. Thank you everyone for spreading the word and thank you again to our wonderful sponsors.]
We’re back for our second year and would love for you to join us in making WordCamp Brighton 2017 even bigger and better. We need friendly people to form an awesome volunteering team to help make the event run like clockwork.
As we edge closer to announcing the schedule, it’s the perfect time to remind everyone that we welcome your feedback, ideas and participation.
We’re organising as much of this event as possible in the open, so the best place to suggest ideas is on Slack. You can also send us your ideas via the website or via email (brighton@wordcamp.org).
If you haven’t already, you can join the UK WP Community Slack by following this link.
We’re organising in the public channel #wordcamp-brighton. I hope to catch up with you there!
