After WordCamp Brighton, we’re holding a Contribution Day, where we’ll spend a whole day giving back to WordPress.<\/p>\n

Contribution Day will be on Sunday 20th August at Eagle Labs Brighton, 10am-4pm.<\/p>\n

Eagle Labs Brighton<\/a> have very kindly donated the entire venue for us to use for the day, including loads of coffee, tea and their super-fast wifi.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf1e\u00a0So we want to say a very big thank you to the team at Eagle Labs \ud83c\udf1e<\/p>\n

Eagle Labs is a co-working and office space. They also have an excellent Maker Space, equipped with 3D printers, a laser cutter and lots of other cool tools.<\/p>\n

Jon, the in-house technician, helped us make the snazzy (glowing) orange Volunteer badges you’ll notice at WordCamp.<\/p>\n

We made these from perspex using the Eagle Labs laser cutter. Here’s a little video of the laser cutter in action:<\/p>\n
