WordCamp Brighton will be hosted at the Clarendon Centre<\/a> on the 16th and 17th of August – we can’t wait to see you there! \ud83e\udd29<\/p>\n\n\n\n 47 New England Street Brighton Railway Station<\/a> is 0.3 miles away from the Clarendon Centre, which is around a 6 minute walk. A taxi ride from the station is likely to take a little longer at around 10 minutes due to traffic in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n London Road Brighton Station<\/a> is slightly further away from the Clarendon Centre (0.5 miles). It\u2019ll take 10 minutes to walk from here, but only 5 minutes by taxi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you\u2019re heading to WordCamp Brighton by car, you unfortunately won\u2019t be able to park on-site. There is on-street meter parking outside of the venue, and the London Road multi-storey car park is only a 3 minute walk away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After the conference ends on Saturday, we\u2019ll all be heading down to OhSo Social<\/a> for the after party at around 7pm (til late).<\/p>\n\n\n\n OhSo Social is a bar that\u2019s located on the seafront, very close to Brighton Palace Pier, and is a 20 minute walk (1.1 miles) from the Clarendon Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you\u2019d prefer to take a taxi, it\u2019ll take 5 \u2013 10 minutes (dependent on traffic) to get there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Oh So Social Contribution day will be held at The Skiff, a co-working space that is a short walk from the Clarendon Centre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n If you\u2019re travelling into Brighton by train, The Skiff is only 0.2 miles (a 5 minute walk) from Brighton Railway Station<\/a>.\n Please note \u2013 the main entrance is located on Blackman Street. A taxi \nfrom Brighton Station will take 6 -8 minutes, depending on traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Parking is incredibly limited (and expensive!) in Brighton, but there are several car parks nearby<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Skiff * the main entrance is located on Blackman Street<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are a variety of different accommodation options available in Brighton and the surrounding areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The city of Brighton & Hove is very easy to get around \u2013 either on foot, bike, by bus, or in a taxi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you opt to stay outside of the city in neighbouring towns (such as Portslade, Patcham, Lewes, Worthing, and Eastbourne), you can easily get into Brighton by train, taxi, or bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We recommend checking out Airbnb<\/a> for places to stay. There are reasonably priced places on Airbnb in Brighton & Hove and the surrounding areas mentioned above.As the conference approaches, hotels in central Brighton become increasingly expensive, so it\u2019s best to book as early as you can.
