The WordCamp Brighton Lead for 2019, Tommy is a keen supporter of the WordPress community in the area. He has been involved in co-leading WordUp Brighton during the last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A highly motivated WordPress developer with more than six years experience building and maintaining responsive websites. He has a particular expertise in developing bespoke WordPress themes.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\t

Jon started working with WordPress in 2013, but has been working in IT since 1985. Jon is a sys admin by experience, but that has also required skills in graphics, coding and user support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jon is a freelancer arranging web hosting, web site builds and troubleshooting.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\t

She works as a web and graphic designer, designing primarily in WordPress for SME clients based in and around Sussex and the UK. She also loves helping business owners with their websites at regular, free drop-in #ShakeItHUB help sessions. 

Meg\u2019s company, Shake It Up Creative, specialises in rebranding and repositioning. She said she enjoys working with companies that are ready to take their business to the next level, value design and marketing and need some professional help to turn their ambitions and their passions into reality. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\t

Describing himself as a \u2018life-long geek, chubby athlete\u2019, Neil is also head beekeeper at Honey Bees Online<\/a> and owner of BRIGHTON WEB<\/strong>TECH<\/a>. As a previous long-term user of Joomla, he has now fallen in love with all things WordPress. Being half Scottish, he has also been known to enjoy the odd dram of Single Malt. For a second year, Neil is looking after WordCamp Brighton\u2019s volunteers.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\t

A web developer and general geek, Paul has been making things online for more than 20 years. Making software things with all kinds of languages and technologies and dabbling in some electronics using Arduino, Raspberry Pi etc.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\t

Paul is the Founder of Huckleberry Studio, a Brighton-based web development studio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul is a web UX developer using these skills to create innovative web front ends in WordPress. Paul is not at the event this year as he’s currently in Italy getting married. He has been responsible for getting this site ready and other elements of WordCamp promotion.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\t

A front-end developer and designer, Sim works extensively in WordPress.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\t

He leads on recruitment, learning and development as Pragmatic\u2019s People Operations Director. Tom is focused on creating a happy office and partnerships with educational organisations. Outside of WordPress, Tom loves music and DJing (requests please for the after party) and enjoying Brighton\u2019s many eateries (if you need some recommendations, give him a shout).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has been involved with organising WordCamp Brighton for a number of years and is part of the city\u2019s WordPress Meetup organising team.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\t

Yorick Brown<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t

A web and front-end developer and a web designer, Yorick also writes and edits. He works with clients ranging from enterprises to small local businesses to tackle and fix issues on their websites, providing solutions as well as planning and implementing new features and functionality. 

Using multiple code bases, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, his role includes suggesting ways to optimise and improve websites through content creation and marketing campaigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
